Every plan uses the same briefing engine. Paid plans add monitoring, automation, and room for more flights — not a better WX Score.
Safety is not a premium feature. The WX Score, Synoptic Intelligence™, PAVE, and personal minimums are the same on Free as they are on Pro Plus. Why we don't put safety behind a paywall.
Two kinds of flight slots
Limits are about how many flights you can keep, not how good the briefing is.
Monitored flights
Flights PlaneWX keeps watching. On Casual and above, those briefings auto-refresh as departure gets closer.
Saved flights
How many flights you can keep on your list. See Managing Trips.
Who each plan is for
Free
Try PlaneWX, or fly a couple of trips a year. You refresh briefings yourself. 2 monitored flights, 2 saved flights, 15 briefing refreshes per week. With only two saved slots, a past flight still counts until you archive or delete it.
Casual
A few flights a month. Weather updates itself. Fuel Advisor, email alerts, and trip watchers. 5 monitored, 10 saved, unlimited refreshes.
Pro
You fly more often. Corridor Watch, Multi-City Optimizer, mentor browse, and ground weather at the destination. 10 monitored, 100 saved.
Pro Plus
PlaneWX works while you are not looking. Ground Protection, Auto-Brief, a pre-flight text, and refresh anytime. 25 monitored, 100 saved.
