Pre-Flight Text
Pro PlusYour WX Score by text about 30 minutes before departure, plus a link that opens the briefing without a login. Built for the walk to the airplane — not for sitting at a laptop.
What the text says
One short message. The score is a bare percentage — no GO / CAUTION / NO-GO wording — and a link:
PlaneWX: KDFW→KAUS 82% — https://app.planewx.ai/preflight/…
The link is a one-time capability URL. It opens a read-only briefing in Messages or Safari without signing in, and it expires 24 hours after scheduled departure. A 0% flight reads KDFW→KAUS 0% — unambiguous without bringing back verdict labels.
When it sends
About 30 minutes before each departure — the same T-30m refresh milestone that just updated the briefing behind the link. Multi-leg trips get one text per leg. Quiet hours do not apply: you picked the departure time, so a 04:30 launch still gets the text.
This is additive to the pre-flight email (that one fires closer to an hour out). You can enable either, both, or neither.
How to turn it on
- Add and verify a phone number on the Pilot tab. Opting in without a verified number is a silent no-op — we cannot text you.
- Open Profile → Notifications and turn on Text me my final pre-flight WX Score.
STOP is global
Replying STOP blocks all PlaneWX texts — Ground Protection and Pre-Flight Text share the same number. Reply START to re-enable, then turn the toggles back on if you still want them.
Decision support only. A high percentage on your lock screen is not a clearance. You stay PIC.
